Keep panels protected
SIP panels should not be left exposed to weather for longer than necessary. Store materials off the ground and cover them while allowing ventilation.
If panels become wet, let the team know before closing them into the build-up.
Membranes and roof coverings
Membranes should be lapped and dressed so water is shed away from the structure. Follow the project detail and product instructions for overlaps, edges, and penetrations.
Flat roof EPDM and kerb details need clean, dry surfaces and careful edge finishing.
