Openings are not just holes
Door and window openings affect panel layout, load paths, weathering, and fixing. Check clear opening sizes and structural details before cutting or fitting around them.
Large openings may require lintels, goalposts, steel, glulam, or other engineered supports. These should be confirmed before manufacture or install.
On-site changes
Do not enlarge openings or move structural supports without written confirmation. A small dimensional change can alter bearing, fixing, and weathering details.
If an opening clashes with a site condition, take photos and measurements and contact the office before cutting.
